Hello all!

My name is Travis, and I am just starting my ant journey. I am still looking for my first colony, as I tried all summer to find an alate with no luck. But I am patiently waiting until February-ish when I am going to go out and try to find an acorn ant colony. If that doesn't work then I guess I will have to wait and try my luck again in the spring.

I look forward to tending my own colony, and hopefully finding some fellow Iowans to share this hobby with.

Thanks for looking!

Travis

Good luck finding a queen! It shouldn’t be too hard come spring. Just spend these dreary winter days reading up on here about when and where to find flights.
