So my boys were given these little insect collecting kits and they came with these like insect vaccums that suck up insects and place them in a tube that you can pull out and place the insect in their enclosure.

I was just wondering if using something like this to catch queen ants would hurt them, and if it would actually allow you to catch the queens faster or is it faster to just catch em' by hand?

I use a vacuum and it works wonders. It allows you to catch extremely small species without damaging them. I highly recommend it, though the bug kit ones arent the best for ant collecting. I highly recommend this particular vacuum:https://theantcollec...handheld-vacuum
