It depends on the country you're bringing it to, some countries have laws against that.

You should know this, it's one of the biggest topics in antkeeping. In most countries except for those in Europe it is illegal.

As some people say “It’s only illegal if the cops are around.” Not a good mindset to have when potential environmental destruction is at stake but I guess it applies here.

As for your question like what Manitobant and Martialis said. In most countries it is illegal and really not worth getting a fine or something over. Also if you were thinking of secretly smuggling ants just think of how it could affect the environment if they escaped.

Plain and simple just don’t do it because it is most likely illegal where you are.

next time please don't attack other members, or we could've prevented this whole thing. If you want us to elaborate nicely ask us to. Is that so hard?

I made this thread because I'm worried about moving in the future. My mom wants us to move to Canada if my dad gets a job there.

It won't happen yet so it's not a big deal right now

I don't know if it will 100% happen as my mom only said it once
Not confirmed yet
It's just a possibility

Still in the convincing my dad phase

Well in canada it is illegal, though our laws are much less strict than the US, and I know people who have bought exotics in the past (this doesnt mean I condone it)

Don't bring odontoponera. They are very, very hardy. Even army ants avoid them. Also please don't get aggro at everything.

If you move to Canada, release your odontopnera while you're still in the Philippines and start again in Canada. There are plenty of interesting species in Canada too, but I doubt you'll find queen ants on your floor.

As Silq said, you should refer to the answers given in the Reddit thread you created 6 months ago, in which you asked the exact same question.

The question was answered perfectly well, and nothing has changed since that time.  It seems you are just posting the same question here to provoke our members for your own amusement.  Please stop.
