Hi All,

I've been an occasional lurker the last few weeks and have enjoyed reading about your endeavors. You have an impressive resource here!  I only wish something like this existed in 2012 when I was beginning my first attempts at keeping live ants.

I work as a Research Associate and study a few invasive ant species that are impacting our area: Nylanderia fulva, Solenopsis richteri, S. invicta and their hybrid. I'm glad someone told me about your site!

Cheers!

David

I've only been keeping the workers of Nylanderia fulva (tawny crazy ant) to keep them available for test subjects. I'm in a region that hasn't yet been invaded, so we trying our best to keep it that way. Even without the other stages and queen, the workers can persist for many months.
