This is a pic of my C. castaneus colony in a THA Mini Hearth XL. I'd like some opinions on if you think they have enough room for now or should I expand it with another Mini Hearth?

I would say yes they do need a little more nesting space. I assume there is also (since there is no picture of the foraging area) workers posted in the foraging area all the time (happens when nest space is low. You can either attach another smaller nest (bigger would just introduce the workers to new garbage sites) or try and dry out/expose the old nest to light and make a bigger nest that is somewhat moist and dark and try to move them out that way. (Have fun it can take awhile to do it that way)

The out world on THA formicariums arenpretty small. During the day there are between 3 and 6 ants in the out world. These guys are very nocturnal
