Location of collection: Platteville, Wisconsin
Date of collection: Unsure, likely a month or two ago
Habitat of collection: In my house
Length: ~5 mm (Rough measurement due to her being curled up)
Color, hue, pattern and texture: Black

Nuptial flight time and date: Unsure, likely a month or two ago

I found this queen(?) crawling around my house a month or two ago, sadly she didn't survive long. I'm curious what species she might be.
I'm fairly new to ant keeping, I'm not super familiar with the local species yet!

I'm guessing some sort of Formica? due to small size and color.
