Found this today at the entrance to the main building of my Camp. It's a Cicada but a Periodical Cicada. I don't think this is the year for them to appear. (I'm in MD). Cool to see though. One of my Favorite Insects actually.

Wow! That's amazing! There was supposed to be an emergence back in 2017 that I had been waiting for since 2012, but it never came. That or I never saw it.

Well apparently this guy is 2 years early! that's uncommon but not heard of. We have different Cicadas every year there are a couple species in MD. I love these guys though!
