Okay, just want to bring this topic back to life, because I am also curious. We have many days where it would be perfect queen ant hunting weather, but does too much wind discourage them from flying, like a small breeze, or even 20 mph wind?

It has to be relatively still for flights. I think anything over 10 mph will void any flights.

I've found queens flying in winds up to 8 miles per hour, so they can definitely take on some strong winds.
