Small%20queenHello everyone! I am very new to the ant keeping hobby and I mean VERY new. I have watched some videos on youtube on locating queen ants and their care. I went outside today and found some that kind of look like queens but I'm so inexperienced I can't tell if they are or not. If anyone could tell me if any of these are actually queens that would be great. If one of them is a queen the genus would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ant #1 is a queen, probably from the genus Lasius. Possibly parasitic. All others are Camponotus workers. You can tell if an ant is a queen by looking at it's thorax. If there are wing scars (where the wings were attached), it is a queen.
