Tetramorium are beginning to slip past the Formica strongholds that form the gateway to my outer yard... if those pesky invasives reach the deep outer yard, all will be lost.

I think we should change the name of Paratrechina longicornis from "Black crazy ants" to "Habsburg ants" because both seem to like inbreeding.

Does anyone else's heart get broken when they have to tell someonet they didn't find a queen? I mean, they're always so happy... it's sad to tell them, but necessary.
