Welcome!
Yeah, the ant bug can bite pretty hard.
But flights should be starting soon in your location.

Welcome to the forum.
Catching a queen will be a beginning of a long..., mind boggling, journey. Anting will test your patience, sanity, and will give you a second thought about your marriage if you are married.
Have fun.
Welcome. Mating flights have already started in Southern California, so you shouldn't have long to wait.
Welcome! Texas has some great ants. Good luck!
Hey I grew up there!
Welcome! Good luck!
Welcome to the forum!, and hopefully you'll obtain a queen and create a colony.
May the force be with you XD

Welcome to the forum!
Welcome to the forum. I actually replied to your other thread first. xD
Anting is a pretty addictive hobby mainly because you have so many species to choose from. Kind of like real life pokemon except you can't throw test tubes at queens
One day.

Home of Pace Picante sauce and Atta Texana you are a lucky fellow my friend!
As Chromerust said, once you are knowledgeable enough, I suggest going after Atta texana without a doubt.
I think they actually fly in April-May too, so you are lucky you joined now before any major mating flight.
