Found a single dealate resting still just a day before, saw no other queens of her kind except back on March, 29th, I suspect that'll change though as for April here is famed for its flights. And although I have about eight colonies of these girls, I’ll be focusing primarily on just these founding queens instead since I’m selling those same colonies off anyway.

I meant to update this journal sooner, but life for me has been pretty hectic recently. Anyways, workers began emerging around a week ago, and since then I've caught 5 more additional queens. I suspect that 2 of them are infertile as they have yet to shed their wings nor lay any eggs for that matter.

Not much has happened since their last update, for now here's a photo comparison of my youngest colony with my oldest one.

I can't see any majors in your older colony, what do they look like? And is it common for median/majors not to appear until a certain point?

I dunno when will they appear, but I know for a fact they could appear earlier than expected (had 2 colonies producing a major around the 15 worker mark).

For what the majors look like, I tried taking a pic but it didn't work out, so here's an example I found on Google to give you an idea.
