I can't tell queens apart....everything looks like a Tetramorium unless it is a different color or much bigger. Are there tell tail features that might help me identify Tetra vs anything else? Would love to see pics

I actually find that Tetra queens look quite a bit different than anything other than some Aphaenogaster or Pheidole queens. You might want to just research the different species in your state so that you can learn to tell them apart.
