Formica sp. I think. Something like F. pallidefulva.

1. Tarrant County, Texas

2. 5/29/15
3. Forest trail near suburban park and along sidewalk in suburbs.
4. 8 mm
5. Tan orange. Dark mandibles. Gaster mostly just tan color and lighter than rest of body. 
6. The gaster is rather bulbous. Fairly long longs and very fast!
