Mine eat Blue 100 with fervor, if they have plenty of brood.

New queens already have vast fat stores from their home colony, and only need sugar water for both the water content (ants are mostly water) and to ensure all their stored fat resources can be put into their first brood towards reading nanitics.

I gave them Blue 100 and Aqua 300. They seem to favor Aqua 300 more.

Blue 100 works. Each colony is different, so you will have to try.
