I found a tiny black queen ant in a pool in Arcadia, CA. I found her today June 14th. Is it an Argentinian ant? Can anyone identify it based on the photo?

Thanks, this helps a lot!
That's Brachymyrmex Patagonicus, or the Dark Rover ant. Very small, but fast growing and fun to watch.

You won't have to wait long! From my experience, it only takes about 2-3 weeks for workers to start showing up! Good luck!
