Dspdrew is working on a new area based mating flight chart. I decided to log my data publicly.  :)

It would be nice to have a log to look back on.

Thanks. We actually have a thread just for this very thing.

I will be creating a form people can fill out eventually. If possible I would like to know the time they were flying, and the weather.

How sure are you about the Lasius claviger? All the reports I have are in September, October, and November. May seems awfully early.

I second guessed that it was L. interjectus and he confirmed it. I edited my first post to appropriate sub species.

Sorry for that confusion. I won't update the pinned post unless I am sure from now on. :)

Lasius interjectus flew again today at my parents house in Holley NY. Big swarms coming out of their cement porch.

It was about 74 degrees and VERY humid.
