wow. didn't know that. Well, I guess you were lucky to have a colony like that, or you are just a really good anter.


Ants I am keeping:

 none for now, planning on being more active this year

Ok so it has been a long time since I updated this journal.

This ant colony has died out. But yesterday I caught a trap jaw colony with 11 workers and one queen.

More abt them coming................

YEah ok so yesterday I just mentioned this colony in AKE and I just took the container for a peek in.

The cap was a bit lose, and I had taken the container by holding on to the cap. :o  :facepalm:

And... yep the whole dirt setup fell down. My room looked like a terrarium  .I caught all the workers (whew) and put them into a container and now they are living in a tubs and tubes setup. Though I still think that there is a worker underneath my bed. :sore:
