1. Location (on a map) of collection: Jasper, Indiana, U.S.
2. Date of collection: 6/29/2020
3. Habitat of collection: near a forest / open sandy field
4. Length (from head to gaster): 6.5 mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Bright orange coloration on gaster / darker orange on head
6. Distinguishing characteristics: none
7. Distinguishing behavior: none
8. Nest description: none
9. Nuptial flight time and date: found early morning at around 6:00 (sunrise) on June 29th
(Sorry, I have bad lighting)

I think your right! I never even considered that P. tysoni was found around here. I’ll mark it as solved if nobody else has any contradictions by tomorrow. Thanks!Pheidole tysoni.
Edit: Now I’m assuming that all of those colonies I thought were P. morrisii in my yard are actually P. tysoni since the workers are extremely small.

Ants I have: Tapinoma sessile(2 queen colony). RED MORPH Camponotus neacticus(now has pupae!), Tetramorium immigrans (x3), Aphaenogaster sp, Temnothorax sp, Brachymyrmex sp. possibly infertile , Ponera pennsylvanica, and Pheidole morrisi!
Other insects: Polistes sp. Queen
Ants I need: Pheidole sp., Trachymyrmex sp., Crematogaster cerasi , Dorymyrmex sp. Most wanted: Pheidole morrisii
