Yeah, they are similar. Like Lasius neoniger and L. niger.

Hello my dear ant keepers all around the world!

This time I present two videos to you. The first one shows the larvae of my small Cataglyphis cf. bicolor colony:

The second one shows a worker of my Diacamma rugosum colony cleaning herself:

Hello my dear ant keepers all around the world!

Here are some pictures of an awesome looking ant species from South Africa called Camponotus fulvopilosus:

And here is short video of this small colony:

Last week was nuptial flight of  Lasius cf. niger and so I collected some queens. Here is a picture of one of them:

Manica rubida is one of my favourite German ant species:

With best regards,

Diffeomorphismus

Here are some picture of my Cataglyphis cf. bicolor colony. These desert ants are absolutely fascinating. I would say, that this is my favourite colony at the moment.

The colony is growing very fast, so the ants need a lot of proteins:

Trophallaxis:

A very young worker:

The future of this colony:

You have such great pictures and videos! And a large variation of species. :) Do you get them all from a local shop in Germany?
