This is why I want to live in Australia.

Beautiful ants!

I don't think that #1 and 2 is Monomorium.

Hi antaioli,

I'm interested in acquiring a Rhytidoponera Metallica queen with brood and yours look perfect, are any of them still available? I've found a local nest site but my area is absolutely dominated by Iridomyrmex Purpureus super-colonies  - I'd hate to remove a successful Rhytipoponera nest from the area.

LMK if they're available and how to proceed from here (I assume we swap details in PM).

I'm in South Australia so postage shouldn't be an issue.

Cheers,

Z.
