I hope to use this post as my running page for when I notice flights in Central Ohio for future reference and use. Also included flights noticed during vacation.

April 12th 2015 - Observed and Collected flights from Prenolepis imparis at Creekside in Gahanna, OH

May 5th 2015 - Observed a Camponotus sp. male alate on my patio in Blacklick, OH

May 18th 2015 - Collected a Camponotus pennsylvanicus. queen at place of employment in Columbus, OH

May 25th 2015 - Observed Solenopsis invicta flight in Charleston, SC

May 26th 2015 - Observed a Solenopsis invicta flight in Charleston, SC

May 28th 2015- Observed a Solenopsis invicta flight in Charleston, SC

June 4th 10:30 am- Collected a Camponotus pennsylvanicus. queen at place of employment in Columbus, OH

June 10th 1:00pm- Collected a parasitic Lasius queen at place of employment in Columbus, OH

June 12th 9:30 am - Collected Tetramorium queens at place of employment in Columbus, OH

June 14th- 7:00 am - Collected 19 Tetramorium queens out of a pool in Winchester, KY

June 22nd - 9:00 am - Collected a Formica male at place of employment in Columbus, OH

July 4th - 8:30 pm - Collected a either a Formica rubicunda or pergandei Queen (Slavemakers) in New Albany, OH

 

July 9th - Mid Morning and Mid afternon - Collected several Formica subsericea at place of employment in Columbus, OH

                               Tetramorium caespitum (50+ Workers)

                               Parastic Lasius (15 Accepted Host Workers)

                               Temnothorax sp. (70 + workers)
