Hi Ant-Topia!

Just wanted to stop in and say that I finally got around to using the Micro v6 and Micro Outworld I purchased a few months back. They work great! Everything fits tightly together, and I don't have any concerns about possible escapees. I'm using it for a Camponotus queen that has about 5 niantics now.

They seem really happy in it! Much happier than they were in their test tube.

Feedback for possible improvement:

- Somewhere formal to attach a heating cable. I've used electrical tape to secure my heating cable to the side, but I had to fuss with it in different positions for a few days before I got it in a good position where it would actually stay. I had to be really careful not to get it too close to the water reservoir, because it started to heat the water and cause way too much humidity inside the nest! If there were little notches, or a channel, that would be helpful.

The micro-outworld is also mostly perfect! I only wish it was as long as the test tubes that you also sell, so I could easily make a sugar-water feeder and lay it inside the outworld, and be able to put the lid on all the way. Or, lay a test tube with a new queen/founding colony in it.

In any case, both are totally perfect for their inexpensive price!

Thanks for looking!
Kayla

Hello, and thank you for your feedback.  it is greatly appreciated.  I will look into adding a channel for heating cables in the future.

I look forward to watching your colony grow,  :)
