1. Southern California near LA.

2. Collected sometime last week.

3. Flew into my house.
4. 4mm
5. Black/Dark Brown
6. Just sits there on the water reservoir.
7. Doesn't seem to move very fast in a 'crazy' manner.

8. Flew in at night.

Did it rain recently where you are located? If it did it's either Dorymyrmex insanus or an Argentine ant. Unless it's some other species but those pics aren't the best quality.
