1. Location of collection: Just outside Wynne, AR

2. Date of collection: 6/10/18
3. Habitat of collection: The area is mostly forested.  I picked her up on a concrete walkway.
4. Length: 10 mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: red, gaster has lighter and darker red stripes; a few sparse hairs, but not really hairy; wings are translucent brown
6. Distinguishing characteristics: I think 12 antennal segments
7. Anything else distinctive: very active
8. Nest description: found her on the sidewalk, so not sure about the nest

9. Nuptial flight time and date: I found her around 11:20 a.m., but I'm not sure about the flight time.
10.  These were the best of the pictures, but if there is something specific that would help with identification, let me know and I will try to get a picture.  She never stops moving which makes it difficult to get a good picture.

My educated guess is Camponotus festinatus.

Certainly not C. festinatus.

Not even Camponotus, probably Formica. Something in the pallidefulva group most likely.

I don't think we have C. festinatus based on the research I've done.
