I have been making formicariums with attached foraging areas using stackable bead storage container cylinders (the 1.5 inch containers) in a similar vein as this sticky: http://www.formicult...wer/#entry32719. However, recently I ran into a problem of running out of the included lids . I solved this problem thru experimentation by using used Glaceau Vitamin Water caps as seen in the pictures. Its not the most elegant or aesthetically pleasing solution but it works. I had to modify the caps a bit by grinding/cutting down the inner thread of the vitamin water cap to get it to seat right on the container since the threads do not remotely match.  :D I thought someone else might benefit from this solution if they are using similar materials.

This is one of my previously completed towers that I have some Myrmica sp.. residing in.

very nice! I also had purchased bead stackable containers last year that are the same shape but larger, never knew what to do with them so I created this (which I never used because I messed up on something)
