Just thinking,

Has anyone thought about starting a public calendar (google calendar/ ical/ wiki) to track/ approximate nuptial flights?

Maybe base it on Country and region - North America, USA, New England, Mid Atlantic, South Eastern etc. to get more granularity?

Perhaps provide a defined nomenclature, convention/ process (google form?) behind adding sightings?

e.g.

DATE: May 8th 2018

Event Title: "2018 - L. Embratus"

Description: "User: Mallonje Location: Westford Mass. Flight Witnessed: No Queens Witnessed/caught: Yes User Comment: Bright, Sunny, daytime High of 72 - found on bright warm concrete apron"

Then set the event to always repeat so we could track shift in flights.

and if you too notice a flight you could update the description.

Description: "User: Mallonje Location: Westford Mass. Flight Witnessed: No Queens Witnessed/caught: Yes User Comment: Bright, Sunny, daytime High of 72 - found on bright warm concrete apron

User: CapeCodAntLady Location: Truro Mass. Flight Witnessed: Yes Queens Witnessed/Caught: Yes Comment: Sunny, humid, 78, Large swam climbing up and flying off of telephone poles on Truro center rd."

Or am I just over thinking this?

huh funny "Spotting" and "Chart" were not in my scope of search terms used.

This looks cool. But is someone actively collecting the thread posts and adding them to the spreadsheet?

I believe dspdrew is adding new sightings to the list quite frequently.
