My friend who got into ant keeping about a year ago was keeping lots of exotic species (as he lives in thailand) and recently he orded a solenopsis geminata because he couldn't find any. The solenopsis geminata colony was one queen and 10 workers but with no brood it has been 3 days. 2 workers have died and still no brood, do you guys have any idea why his colony still hasn't laid eggs yet or will it take time. Do you know how to speed it up or if the colony will survive?
I will ask my friend for pictures of the colony.
Thanks for reading I will tell my friend all of the suggestions.

He could have been scammed, It might be an infertile queen which won't lay any eggs with brood boosted workers.
