YESSSSS UPDATE! Doesn't matter if it's short, I just check this everyday waiting for an update. I don't think the bump's anything too serious, it'll probably go away sometime soon.

I'm thinking about making a bioactive community vivarium for my L. lugubris. Possible species include:

Lepiodactylus lugubris (of course)
Banana roaches

Dubia roaches (maybe)

Baby hissers (My female is nearly ready to give birth to her first clutch!)
Brachymyrmex sp. (Probably would be good cleaners)
Springtails

Zootermopsis sp. (I already put a colony [in one of my "pseudo termitariums"] inside of my Lepiodactylus's current vivarium)

I'm not sure on the other species, but I might also include Diabolical Ironclads and some sort of jumping spider.

Unfortunately, my Betta has developed a minor case of fin rot. I changed his tank's water, and I hope that he heals fully. I think that he might have got an infection from the filter (frequently sucks his fins in). I covered up the water input and changed the water, and he's looking better now.

The termites are all looking great, but no eggs yet.

BTW, if you look at the first post, my collection has changed quite a bit.

My betta has been suffering from SEVERE fin rot, so I've added a stronger heater and some betta-fix. He's looking better, and I hope that some new fin tissue appears in a few weeks.

My mourning gecko has been growing like crazy! I've learned that she prefers to eat Zootermopsis workers & Crested Gecko Diet. She also accepts small spiders and crickets, with her favorites being jumping spiders.

YES! UPDATE! Never had ezperience with fin rot, the heat might help. Good luck with the gecko, fruit flies might also help out!

Thank you mega!

The fin rot definitely isn't spreading anymore, so the treatment might be working.

I'll try and get some fruit flies, but my local pet store doesn't really sell any. I heard that fruit flies are great for ants, crab & jumping spiders, and geophilids, too!

I introduced a few cleaner organisms to my gecko's vivarium (earthworm, potworms, more wild springtails) plus one of my old captive-bred geophilids to control my fungus mite population.

Update!

I've certainly been inactive for a while, haven't I?

I'm still alive (wow) and well! My collection has dwindled quite a bit, but I still have my favorite colonies (my Monomorium and Myrmica) and a brand new budgie! The new budgie, Loki, is the sweetest little boy (?). He has learned how to step up, and I'm trying to get him to eat pellets as of now.

I'll upload pictures soon, and I'll keep this updated ;)

I've also gotten into paleoart (realistic drawings of dinosaurs, marine reptiles, pterosaurs, and other extinct critters), so I may upload some pictures of my drawings as well.
