Hello everyone,

I have a good friend looking to receive two Pheidole bicarinata colonies from me. The colonies live in test tubes, with a queen and approximately 20-25 workers each. Once she receives her colonies, she plans on transferring both of them into the same 2" x 2" x 5" Formicarium (similar to THA nucleus in shape).

Do any of you have any experience merging colonies? How about merging them from separate test tubes into the same enclosure?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
