All I know is it has one node, and seems to be relatively Formica-esque.

Forgot to mention that this queen has its eggs wrapped in a silk like substance while my other queen, which is a formica, has no silk.

Eggs, or pupae?

Formica are notorious for producing both cocooned pupae and naked pupae. Often the workers remove the cocoon long before the pupae is ready to eclose.
