Is it normal to find carpenter ants this late? Found a queen today with her wings still attached, walking by our mail box. She is super aggressive compared to my other Camponotus queens. Only Queen C. noveboracensis I've found this summer. Several others though. Found several crematogaster, a ton of lasius, and several that I've yet to identify. I have probably 40 queens in all or so.... Some are laying eggs / have brood, but most were found in the last week so nothing yet. If anyone in Maine wants to do any trades let me know.
