They're THIS safe:

 

 

That's a Solenopsis fugax nanitic, less than 1mm long and probably one of the tiniest ants that can be kept properly.

 

Just for size comparison, these are Camponotus, the minors are about 10mm long.

 

I tested it because I wouldn't know how else to properly feed these itsy ants that could drown in a water droplet the size of a Lasius worker. Yes, q-tips soaked in water could be used but seriously, these dry out in a few horus.

The feeders are much more comfortable and I wanted to know if they are safe for even the tiniest of tiniest ants.

Does anyone sell these in the UK or ship to the UK?

I'd really like to get some, but the only ones I can find available are the largest size, which are a bit too tall to be practical in my out worlds.

I have some of these that I purchased on Amazon and they are great.  I wash them in the dishwasher with no issues so far.
