Hey, everyone. While out anting yesterday I stumbled across a Ponera pennsylvanica colony with 2 queens. They have 5 workers as well, and a larva or two. One of the queens is ergatoid. I'm going to be seeing if I can successfully keep this species, as it seems like not many people have done so, and I'm also excited to see what that ergatoid queen means for the colony. I'll be doing my best to document things in this journal. Here's a video:
