Has anyone had any luck at containing Prenolepis imparis with olive oil?

When in doubt, revert to baby powder/talcum powder-that's my motto! It even worked for keeping my T. sessile in, and they are THE escape artists :D

Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
    consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
    and gathers its food at harvest.
