Is there a problem with the site that it keeps creating the multiple same posts everyday?

I'm sure I'm not the only one noticing the slight hiccups with latency on the forum. I thought it was struggling to process sending the e-mail the Eight Colorado Anters have going on right now. Perhaps its my work computer.. but I don't think that the case as its kinda appearing all over. Things aren't zip-zap instantly done, quick, bang, boom. I've sent the same e-mail multiple times accidentally. Takes 10 seconds to give a reply to a post. Sometimes 15 seconds. Gotta give it a little.

When replying to anything, just click post, ONCE.  I would give anything to watch you make a mortgage payment, only to realize you've paid four additional times in your impatience.

Everyday coming to the forums and seeing two... three..... once there were four of the same posts. It's getting annoying. To tolerate them and just wait for someone else to fix the mistake is something I'm running out of. I'll check the website, see in "Latest posts" that we've got the exact same posts multiple times.

Sure the same topics are getting debated, that's fine. Discussion ..... ....is discussion. But to have the same post minutes from one another.....Put in some effort and clean up after yourself. Realize you've made a mistake and clean it up by deleting the extra posts. This time, I don't want to see how you live. You can't even figure out how to make a payment on time.

If the website isn't having issues right now - Suggested feedback:

Implement a time delay that forces X amount of time before a new post can be posted, where x is going to be 5 minutes.

...Downside is going to be a delay in answers, but a 300 second buffer will be in place.

Haha, i've been aware of this issue for a while and have informed drew about it. The site DOES have loading hiccups. In fact, i believe the issue we've been having with the chat and it taking forever to send some msgs stems from the sites poor load times, and not the chat its self.

I've noticed this too, at first I thought it was just some people hitting the Create Topic button over and over [spoiler you only usually need to hit it one good time] but now it seems like it's becoming a bit of an Issue.

I do think it is not the website entirely. I myself have sent PM's, usually on mobile, multiple times and have to go back and delete them. The latency may be the forum, but the impatience is the user.

Only took you nearly 6 months to do less than an hour of work for a 2 minute fix.  Nice work, Mr. Admin.

Hah...This was a culmination of a message board about ants and a message board for my town.

Edit....

K...I just watched TCs post disappear. How am I suppose to tell him he failed when it disappeared..

I don't have that issue. However, just don't make mistakes to begin with and no worries. :P

It's mostly an issue on my tablet. It can take quite a while sometimes on there.

I'm not aware of any issues editing posts. You might have a problem with your browser.
