3. Habitat of collection: Urban area
4. Length: 10mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: The entire body is shiny, brown and bald.
6. Distinguishing characteristics:One petiole node, no spines or bumps and a pointed gaster.
7. Anything else distinctive: /

Hm, I'm not really sure actually. I guess it could be Lasius umbratus.

Hm, I'm not really sure actually. I guess it could be Lasius umbratus.

 

I got Lasius umbratus earlier this year and this isn't it. Here's the link: http://www.formicult...2017/?hl=bitola. If it is a social parasite I can't do anything with it.
