Collected 5/12/17
There were two habitats: One in the tree and one in the wall which is brick but there is wood inside.
Length:8-10mm
Red and black
Behavior: Runs then stops then runs again then stops and repeat
I just need a ID of the ant

All my colonies are dead. 

 

 Except:

  

  Pogonomyrmex barbatus

  Pheidole obscurithorax

  Pheidole morens

Definitely a Pseudomyrmex gracilis.
