1. Front yard Randolph MA

3. Grass lawn
4. ~4 mm
5. Bicolored gaster. The anterior portion is dark and the posterior portion is light orange. Legs appear bicolored- dark brown and yellow 
6. Notable spine on thorax. Thin waist. Two petiole nodes. Normal mandibles 
7. Was crawling against a cement wall with some C. nearcticus nearby
8. No nest found.

Looks like a darker-colored Aphaenogaster fulva worker to me.
