Potential for an all in one Formicarium/Out World?

So i saw this container in the shops and thought it had potential - cut out the square on the top and apply the slippery substance to stop them climbing out etc, drill a whole in the half/half divider, and cast the bottom half sections as the nest chambers (carve them out) and it would be 1 container for both the nest and the outworld? Thoughts? Help with design?

Top section with divider open (that clear square is where i was thinking to cut out, then add the baby powder/rubbing alcohol mix or whatever around the lip):
