I am trying:
http://www.rcpblock.com/brick.html
because there is one in San Diego county, and one in Riverside, but I think it also does delivery. I am not sure yet.
I'll have to call and see.
I am going to be fully honest - AAC/Ytong is definitely not the best formicaia solution. It is absorbent and lightweight, but it is also very weak and dries out quickly. I don't recommend making a solid brick nest if every possible because there are much better options, and some companies that sell excellent formicaria which will make the best out of your ant keeping experience.
Either way, II have access to some blocks and if you ever really need one I will sell it to you for cheap.

I am in a tough predicament here. I really want a block with at least more than 21 inches in length 14 inches in width and 3 inches in depth. Wht do you suggest in terms of material Kevin?I am going to be fully honest - AAC/Ytong is definitely not the best formicaia solution. Grout and Perlite mix is the best once again. Acrylic will work.

From what I remember perlite is composed of glass and extremely weak. Sand is a much better option.
I suggest you buy a 3D printed or acrylic nest and manually apply grout to the inner chambers and add sand to the outside of it. Mix it, pour it, and sprinkle sand. Crystals has several tutorials. The reason this method works so well is because grout is very absorbent but a unfortunately weak material, and also does not retain moisture as well as something as dense as plastic or acrylic. I recommend buying something that is custom made, 117colonies.com can do this, as well as me, or a nest that may be known to over-hydrate as you will need more water or moisture contact than specifically designed for a bare plastic formicaria.
