Ants I have:

2x Dorymermex insanus queens

1x Veromessor pergandei queen

No brood yet 😥 and I suspect 2 of them aren't fertile

I go anting pretty regularly! Generally in the Temecula / Hemet area. I also go in to San Diego for work but haven't been anting too much here.

I also have a 12/24x macro lens so I take lots of video and pictures!

Here's my latest video

I got into this a couple months ago by seeing AntsCanada's channel

My dream species is the Arizona Turtle ant but as I live in California chances of me getting one are pretty slim! I'd also really like longicornus or a cooperative / new queen accepting colony of v.pergandei

I'm really interested in formicarium construction more than keeping many different species of ants.

I don't see any double posting here. Double posting is posting the same thing on the same thread twice in a row.

Oh, double posting I think is when you post a topic that is irrelevant or not helpful to the original topic. One of my pet peeves and also a rule. Kinda clutters up the thread.
