Early removal from hibernation

My ants were very active all year and around they time they were supposed to slow down they didn't. So I wound up not putting them into the fridge until December. Now my question is should I still wait 3 months or take them out at the end of this month?

I'd say if you don't have the spare colonies and queens to try it out, leave them in to be safe. Mine started there official hibernation around the same time, and i've removed about 10% of my livestock early for testing reasons about a week ago. They spent 2 months before hand with normal day/night fluctuations dropping down below 40s at night as they neared December.

So yeah. If there's no specific reason to take them out, leave them in till mid march, beginning of april.
