I got some of these plastic blocks at work and carved them out. I cut the sides out of some lab bottles and use silicone to hold the tops on. I'm using nest mates from THA for hydration and I've been using large petri dish's as out worlds. They are a little rough but they'll do the job.

I got some more plastic and plan on cleaning up the design to make them look more professional. I'm hoping to get some magnets to use to hold the lid on as apposed to silicone, and a new fine sanding bit to clean up the dremel marks.

I plan on make quite a few of these to be prepared for this season.

I'm thinking my Formica sp. and Small Lasius sp. next is one for my Camponotus sp.

I'm changing the hydration method from the nest mate idea, to a water reservoir inside the nest with a 3mm filling tube and 1mm holes inside to let the humidity. So I'm scrapping these ones.
