Hey guys, I'm currently searching for Temnothorax colonies to rear and although I have had some success in the past in finding them, this year has been a really poor one for it. Any advice, tips or tricks you guys can give to aid me in finding Temnothorax colonies would go a long way.

if you leave a blacklight out in early august you can find thousands of alates

End of June into early July here in MA I saw tons of them at night. If I went out with a flash light, my shirt was often covered with them.
