XD I actually got them from a friend in California. He has them for now to see if they don't have any mites an such. I should be getting them before Christmas.

I've notified the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and The Alabama Department of Agriculture about your account details. Feel free to continue illegally trading ants, but the fine when you are caught will be upward of $5,000.

We have warned you over and over to stop this.

I agree, no one here supports this, although It's his parents getting fined, not him. So he probably doesn't care. You would think you would keep it quiet at least Alabama anter?

He'll care when his parents find out.

If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.

Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.

Exactly! I've even explained this to him. But instead of going after all of the unique species in his area, he would rather put natural fauna in jeopardy for something he doesn't even need (both in his area and the areas he has been exporting ants to). The laws are there for a reason, and we have told him that over and over and over again.

So why are you still getting the colony? You say the person still has the ants, so cancel the order.

Maybe cause the only "diversity" I have in my area is Solenopsis invicta. Now I'm not saying illegally shipping is a good thing but I'm saying that if they do ever escape (which THE probably won't) they will get killed by Argentines and invicta. And if they do get out, the only species that I have illegal are my Dormymyrmex

You're really missing the big picture alabama. You should just cancel it.

Solenopsis invicta hasn't stopped other ant keepers in your region from finding ants.

To be blunt, you are still a child. You haven't learned enough yet to make informed decisions about voting, drinking, doing drugs, joining the army, getting a job, renting or driving a car, getting a checking account, getting a loan, etc. You are presumably still in grade school, and have not completed any college. You can't be making grand-scale environmental decisions, against the informed advice of people who have been studying biology, ecology, and myrmecology since you've been in kindergarten. It's hard to go about all this without hurting your feelings, and I am sorry for all of the stress this has been causing you, but you need a reality check right now. If you straighten out your act, you will be more than welcome here.

Clean up your act, then. Choose any of the idioms. Nobody has to be straight. :D
