The species is Tetramorium spE. She had 20 workers, now she has about 12. A few passed away. I have sugar water, water, egg yolk, flies, seeds in the outer world right now.

there's also about 20 eggs and about 10 larva.

 

My question is, did I put them in too fast? Did I mess up? If so, what's my best course of action?

Sorry to break it to your but you probably did, also that condensation is a bit troubling, you don't want to mix condensation and small ants together. With that being said I suggest you put a something else for them to nest at the entrance, preferably something like a small testube and cover it up (make it dark). With some luck a worker should wander in and the colony would move into it. A colony should fill up at least 30% of whatever they're living in.

Should I pry off the glass and put them in a test tube?

You could just move them out again, it wouldn't be that hard.

If you want to move em into a test tube put some organic/natural light in there to make them want to go into the test tube. But be sure to put shade over the test tube to make them want to go in. But don't put regular light in or it might fry the ants.

So I definitely want to take them out? I don't want her to starve to death. So, don't break it? Just leave them exit slowly?
