Just ordered her, she will be here in a few days. A friend just gave me a fish tank and the plan is to make a cool home for her.

Hoping there are no laws prohibiting her from being imported, I couldn't find any.

I wanted something to do while, my ants hibernate this year.

 

Top soil, a dish of water, a hiding spot and some super worms. With a few pieces of oven baked beach wood. Should make a nice home. Oh and a heating lamp.

 

Anyone have any experience keeping tarantulas.

Well, I'm not sure if "something to do" quite describes the experience of keeping a tarantula. They don't do much and practically thrive on neglect.
