Hello all

I'm pretty new to ant keeping, but hoping I can learn quickly.

I have always been interested in the insect world. I caught and kept bees, spiders, and other small insect when I was a small child. I even had a few of the classic queen-less "Ant Farms" as a kid. Probably would have been a entomologist if I didn't have to pay the bills.

Unfortunately I have already had 1 failed colony of Camponotus modoc, I believe due to mold.

But I haven't given up yet. I have just adopted a colony of Dorymyrmex bicolor. I am hoping to keep this colony happy and healthy!

Any advice, tips, or wisdom would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
