I am in the high desert in Oregon at the moment and last Thursday I set up some flashlights in the hope of finding one of the allusive Pheidole queens that I thought were flying this month, well that night a Pheidole queen landed on my flashlight. The next day I only saw Solenopsis molesta queens and males, and now up till today it's been the same thing only Solenopsis molesta queens and males. I just thought this was interesting and wanted to share
